InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has signed a dual-brand management agreement with PT. Graha Agung Indahsentosa to debut two hotels, Holiday Inn Resort Bintan Lagoi Beach and Hotel Indigo Bintan Lagoi Beach in Bintan, Indonesia. Set to open in 2019, the new-build hotels will be situated in the prime Lagoi Bay area.

Hilton (NYSE: HLT) has signed a franchise agreement with Lingotto Hotels S.r.l., which will see NH Lingotto Tech hotel become part of the DoubleTree by Hilton brand in early 2018.

Davidson Hotels & Resorts announces the transition in ownership of the Iowa City Sheraton, a property formerly owned by RockBridge and managed by Davidson for nearly 10 years. AJ Capital Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm, has acquired the property while retaining Davidson Hotels & Resorts as the management company.

Officials of The Buccini/Pollin Group today announced that it has completed the acquisition of the 302-room Sheraton DFW Airport Hotel for $46 million. PM Hotel Group, a leading, national hotel management company based in Washington, DC, will operate the hotel.

Meliá Hotels & Resorts has announced that its Puerto Rico retreat will be rebranded as Meliá Coco Beach. Previously part of the Gran Meliá Hotels & Resorts family, the resort will undergo renovations throughout 2017 to transition to a different brand within the Meliá Hotels International portfolio.
