Sands Sets Sights on Tokyo and Yokohama; Will Not Pursue Osaka IR Bid

Las Vegas Sands Corp. (NYSE: LVS) today announced it will not pursue the opportunity to develop an Integrated Resort in Osaka, Japan. Las Vegas Sands Chairman and CEO, Sheldon G. Adelson, said the company is focusing on development opportunities in the Japanese cities of Tokyo and Yokohama.

Centara and Al Bandary Sign Agreement for Two More Doha Hotels

The agreement represents the third and fourth Doha properties Centara will manage on behalf of Al Bandary, which also owns Centara West Bay Residences & Suites Doha, an upper upscale property that opened earlier this year and recently earned a 5-star official classification from the Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC); and the previously signed Centara Grand Hotel Doha scheduled for opening in 2020.

Cinemark to Open CUT! Dine-In Theatre in Cypress, Texas

Cinemark Holdings, Inc., (NYSE: CNK) today announced plans to build a CUT! by Cinemark in Cypress, Texas, a state-of-the-art dine-in theatre, located off of Highway 290 at 29030 Northwest Freeway. Construction is scheduled to begin in November with plans to open in July 2020 as a development of Washington Prime Group.
